MMOTC Knights in Action

Published on

The MMOTC Knights of Columbus were out in numbers the month of November, present at all Masses as part of their recruitment effort and fund raising activities. The Knights are involved in many such activities, like cinnamon roll sales, pancake breakfasts, Tootsie Roll drives and the Mary's Woods Project. There are also many other projects behind the scenes which generate proceeds which support our parish and community, such as purchasing Bibles for Faith Formation, donating funds for mission trips, Meals at Mary Mother, Rosaries, Military Support and many other organizations.

Central to the mission of the MMOTC Knights is support of the parish, its families and the community. It is a fraternal order--a brotherhood--of Catholic men 18 years of age and older, all of whom are encouraged to take a closer look and consider joining this great group of men. There is no required minimum time commitment, only what you are willing and able to do; For some, that is  4-5 hours per year, and others that's 4-5 hours per week. Membership in the Knights of Columbus offers an opportunity to not only support our parish, but to build new relationships and grow with others who share the Faith.

The Knights sponsored a cinnamon roll sale and a pancake breakfast in the Mary Center during November, in addition to a recruitment drive. If you are interested or have been thinking about becoming a Knight of Columbus, stop any of the many Knights you may see in our parish to find out more about what it means to be a member.
